FAQs: Do you accept vertical IDs as proof of age (21+)? No, we do not. NO VERTICAL IDS ACCEPTED. Passports accepted. Temp paper licenses accepted only with prior horizontal licenses Can I bring my pet? No, pets are NOT allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park. Not even my iddy-biddy Chihuahua in my purse? The Park policy is no pets. You’ll have to leave them at home. Can I bring in something to drink? You may bring in closed (sealed) bottles of water or soda ONLY. No outside alcohol is allowed into the Park, and no open containers are allowed out the gate. This wine festival is under a Public Celebration Permit for wineries only and no other type of alcohol may be consumed on site as per NM State law. Can I bring in something to eat? No outside food is allowed into the Park. One sealed bottle of water per person is allowed. Can I bring my children? You may bring YOUR children and those for whom you are the legal guardian, but not those that aren’t your own. You MAY NOT bring your niece/nephew/neighbor/friend of your child. What if it rains? Please visit www.weather.com for information about the zip code 87113. This is the zip code for Balloon Fiesta Park and you may find it is raining in Albuquerque or else where in Bernalillo County, but not at the the event. Our summer storms are sporadic and pass quickly. The festival will not close unless weather is extreme or dangerous. Otherwise, we appreciate the cooling effect of the rain and continue the celebration. There will be no refunds for weather-related reasons. Tickets are valid any one day of the festival. What sort of payment do you accept? We take cash and credit cards. Look for signs for credit card lines. Can I bring my own cooler? No coolers are allowed at the wine festival.
